Qualified actuary with 15 years across the APAC region. I spend my days in risk consulting and my nights building ML models — trying to figure out where traditional actuarial thinking and modern AI actually meet (and where they really don't).
When I'm not doing either of those things, I'm usually on a sports field or with my family.

AI Engineering
Experimenting with ML models applied to actuarial problems — pricing, reserving, fraud detection. Mostly learning as I go and writing about what I find.
